Firebricks and tiles
Stores heat and protects against fire. A fire brick is a block of refractory ceramic material used in lining furnaces, kilns, fireboxes, and fireplaces. A refractory brick is designed mainly to withstand high heat, but should also usually have a low thermal conductivity to save energy. Usually dense refractory bricks are used in applications with extreme mechanical, chemical, or thermal stresses, such as the inside of a wood-fired kiln or a furnace, which is subject to abrasion from wood, fluxing from ash or slag, and high temperatures. Dense refractory bricks have a high thermal mass which is sometimes a useful property in that they will retain heat e.g. in a pizza oven after the fire has been taken out. A wide range of Fire bricks and tiles starting at 1.97$/ea is available for all needs.

Refractory Cement
Refractory castables can be used to create the monolithic linings within all types of furnaces and kilns. They can be further classified into the following sub-categories: conventional, low cement, mortars, plastics and insulating for installation either by gunning or manually. There is a wide variety of raw materials that refractory castables are derived from, including chamotte, andalusite, bauxite, mullite, corundum, tabular alumina, silicon carbide, and both perlite and vermiculite can be used for insulation purposes. There are many refractory cements and similar products; cement, mortar, and plastic. Whether for a crack or for a full wall, we have the product in the size you need. If you are unsure about which type of product to use, contact us for more information.
